Route › About
A practice built around clarity, not volume.
We are a UK registered company based at 66 Paul Street in Shoreditch, London. We work with founders, small organisations and teams who need a careful partner for a digital product.
Why we exist
Many app and web projects fail quietly: not through dramatic bugs, but because nobody could agree what “done” meant, the interface assumed too much, or the release was rushed past store rules and privacy questions. We set up this practice to close those gaps — to make the route from idea to launch visible to everyone involved.
What we believe
- Understandable beats impressive.
- If a person cannot work out a screen in a few seconds, it needs another pass, however polished it looks.
- Small first releases.
- We would rather ship a focused version that works than a long feature list that is half-finished.
- Written decisions.
- Scope, assumptions and changes are written down so nobody has to rely on memory.
- You own your work.
- Source code, design files and accounts are set up in your name wherever possible.
What we are not
This website covers our digital services only and makes no claims about any other activity. We are not a large agency with a bench of hundreds; we take on a limited number of projects so each one gets real attention. We do not publish personal details of our directors on this site; official company information is available from Companies House.
